ABOUT US
OUR STORY
MWEDO was born 25 years ago, founded by three Maasai women, Ndinini Kimesera Sikar, Maria Kaheta and Josephine Gabriel Simon, who knew very well the creativity, resilience and power of Maasai women and understood that, together, the Maasai could build hope and prosperity for their own communities.
Today, 10,000 active members of MWEDO meet together every week. We work together, save together, start businesses, educate our children and keep our mothers and babies safe.
